IBILL 1986-2006 R.I.P. Thats All Folks !

Looks like IBILL has finally lost its 2 year battle to remain alive .According to the Phones there offices are closed:( Theres been no statment about the "note payabes contract" not being paid. No emials are answered by anyone ,No sales or Re-bills are being processed since march.

IF lt looks like its dead, acts like its dead and doesnt make a sound...well its probably DEAD FUCK YOU IBILL :321GFY

SmokeyTheBear 04-10-2006 11:26 AM

BVF 04-10-2006 11:32 AM

When I first started, the ONLY reason that I didn't process with Ibill and processed with CCbill is because Ibill put me through a whole lot of unnecessary bullshit to sign up. CCbill's signup was more streamlined...

Thank GOD for that...I'm a lucky bastard...I could have picked Ibill or Globill or some other bullshit processor and then I would have been assed out.

Linkster 04-10-2006 11:33 AM

I thought they announced about a week or so ago that they had changed their name (or maybe Im remembering that someone else found out that they had changed their name?)

Nope.. Using Etlegate is like 4th party processing <First visa, next etelgate then ibill/gkard/ibdi get there hands on it 3rd and finnally the webmaster comes 4th> Cant find anyone with much information about them. Not that it matters but they charge $50 per chargeback under1% and $150 over 1 % :1orglaugh

They tried to pass it off like its not IBILL in CMI :
"iBill News
Last Updated: Wednesday 29 March 2006 at 6:17 PM U.S. Eastern Time

iBill Introduces New Gateway Solution from Etelegate
In an effort to continue to offer the newest advances in online payment processing iBill is pleased to announce that we have outsourced our processing arm to Etelegate; an online payment processor with a new, much improved, gateway solution. "

But its the SAME COMPANY as IBILL Just another hand in the pot call www.etelegate.com 's phone number @1-888-371-7800 and guess what the messages says ?
"thannk you for calling the ibill sales department"

...not to mention that they add their own transaction fee to every charge, both initial and rebill... the rebill databases that were transferred to them from iBill are already being rebilled but w/ the additional transaction fee being tacked onto each old rebill. i can only imagine what all these old customers will think when they see not only a new descriptor on their creditcard statements but also an unfamiliar amount. maybe this is where Etelegate's chargeback fees really start to become a moneymaker for them..

TheLegacy 04-10-2006 02:38 PM

you know some turd will be on gfy stating that Ibill is restructuring and that the money is simply on hold at the banks - everyone will be paid.

directfiesta 04-10-2006 02:41 PM

damn..... It's the only u/p combination that I remember .... :upsidedow

I didn't see them processing rebills since April 1st .... They ae just sitting in the " next rebill " list ... So they charge them, but then what ?

the iBill CMI won't show the rebills going through, as it is no longer being updated live... to see the rebills being processed under the new Etelegate descriptor you would have to log into the Etelegate admin to see the most recent rebill transactions..

Their sign-up page still functions. I think reports of their death are wishful thinking and a little premature.

Its still theft, er....unethical business-as-usual at iBull.

I've been an Etelegate merchant for seven months. I didn't get paid this month so I started looking around to see if others had the same problem. Naturally I don't like the sound of the ibill to etelegate switch. I'll suppose I'll never see another dime from them and was looking to switch anyway because etelegate has been sucking progressively worse since I started. I mean things started out ok (just ok) but as the months went by the payments got later, support got slower. I got very concerned after they let their secure certificate lapse and it took 10 days (of lost sales) before they fixed it. Now I get no answers to support email and phone support does not exist. I've been asking about my over 180 day reserves which aren't being paid (no response) and they failed to pay me anything this month. So etelegate is on my shit list and I'm looking for a replacement.

I was lucky never to have gotten started with IBalls either. Back then there was no CCBill so I ended up starting with my own merchant account. Then later moved to CCBill within a year or so.

I tried to get started with IBill but like BVF said up a few posts, it seemed like they wanted your first born kid and your right arm.

Sounds as though iBull really did their homework before they outsourced to etelgate - seems they've found the perfect useless processing service to match their own former pathetic track record.

Too bad about your troubles. Hope you get your money outta etelegate shortly.

Centurion 04-12-2006 12:01 AM

Has anyone that was using Ibill actually GO to their home office?
Do an actual sitdown and talk with the "powers that be"?

I mean..as far as I knew, Ibill was death months ago..if not a year ago.

gooddomains 04-12-2006 12:16 AM

this is a dead horse issue

V_RocKs 04-12-2006 12:35 AM

Hmmm... I remember last week they were moving their offices and changing their name. It wouldn't surprise me if they dropped their old number and have already been giving out the new one to new accounts.

chaze 04-12-2006 12:38 AM

Never liked them much, hopefully next time they will get a new owner do things right.

Joey B. Lo 04-12-2006 01:08 AM

Billing providers dying seems to be part of the bizz. We've been through four. Lancelot cost us the most about 500k, then Globill then Probilling, then Ibill. Been with CCbill for about a year now and just praying they stick around... wait no I'm not, fuck that shit I'm getting my own merchant account ASAP :thumbsup Wish me luck with that :pimp

KCat 04-12-2006 02:53 AM

I thought IBill was a publicly traded company. Shouldn't that make it a little more difficult to just disappear than, say, Globill or any of the others who've fucked us over the years?
