666 POSTS! Question for Affiliate Managers

I recently signed up for about 150 affiliate programs.

Do you guys know that when a new webmaster signs up to your programs he gets THREE duplicate emails welcoming him to your program? This happened to about 75% of the programs I signed up with.

Also, as a new webmaster, I am very surprised that only ONE affiliate program had a rep who contacted me personally. As a result, he got preferential treatment. Y'all may want to think about contacting your new WM's personally. It's a nice touch.

I welcome and keep in touch with all my active and new affiliates personaly. I think it is very important to do as well as making them feel like im always available and open to any of their needs ;) I try not to overdo the welcoming emails...

I send an email to every new affiliate that joins, then a chaser email a few weeks after if they haven't logged in since joining.

After that I tend to leave them alone :)

I personally send a welcome email with all of my contact info to each new affiliate that signs up when i approve their account. :)

After that i leave it up to them if they need to contact me for support/help or if they have any questions about our affiliate program. :winkwink:
