Ironically, in the end it was Arafat who refused to sign on, because they don't want peace, they want Israel. Clinton's buddy Arafat is the one who blew Clinton's mideast legacy and Nobel prize. Anyway, the man wouldn't die for his own country, there is not a chance in hell he would die for Israel.

The palestinian state would not have the right to control its own borders, airspace and water resources. Would Israel accept the proposal if such things would have applied to them?

Plus Israel didn't want to demolish all settlements, they instead offered shittie land in exchange for keeping some settlements, they could atleast have offered land of the same "quality".

It was no quality land in Palestine, before Israeli made it "quality land" , may be they want Tel-Aviv board walk?
