He played at a festival near here (Winfield KS) last year and was great. Sadly not listed for 2007.

That is pure talent! Awesome! :)

that's pretty cool. I once saw a guy play "sweet child o mine" with his feet (no joke - and it sounded good to boot), not to take away from this though because this is still really cool to watch. I wonder why he plays like this though. As a guitar player, this could be played normally (although I suppose it wouldn't be as impressive)

He plays harp guitar too and that style makes more sense then, than on an acoustic. It isn't how he usually plays acoustic and there are some other more "normal" clips on that page.

He's what they call a "slap guitarist"

This guy I posted here a few weeks ago plays that kinda style but more punk rockish on a acoustic .

All of these guys are borrowing very heavily from Michael Hedges, a truly brilliant, classically trained guitarist who is acknowledged as pioneering most of the slapping and tapping techniques. He unfortunately died in 1997 in an auto crash, but was often featured in guitar magazines of the 80s and early 90s.

I don't think many other guitarists have managed to match Hedges' combination of skill and compositional ability

Here are several videos of his work

The guy that I think is probably closest to Hedges' genius is Don Ross:
