So which sponsors ARE protecting their content?

So conversions are down the tubes partially due to all the pirated content on the pirate tube sites, torrents, and rapidshare forums. When a surfer can get the content for free elsewhere, why sign up.

Which sponsors are AGRESSIVELY fighting people who illegally put there content up? Who is sending out DMCA notices left and right, and adamently protecting their content. Anyone have dedicated people they have hired out just to do some search and destroy.

I want to know if you are. More than likely my conversions will be better with you than with the other guys. Especially long term. So let's help one another here.

SHUT UP, NOBODY CARES ABOUT YOU BUT IF YOU VOTE FOR RALPH NADER, YOU WILL FEEL BETTER.

BumbleCash actively pursues all copyright violations and content theft. We employ copyright agents that are always searching the web and sending DMCAs where violations are found.

emails to remove content are not DMCA's

why would anyone give detailed information. when you're going to attack a country you don't send them your war plan. why would anyone want to jeopardize their defenses by posting what they do?

It is a deterrent if they publish their stance and make it known that they will pursue. It is like the difference between robbing an armed man's house and another man's home who is unarmed.

I don't need detailed information. I merely want reassurance and to know that it is taken seriously. If I find someone using the content illegally I want to know that if I contact them it won't simply be brushed off.

by the way i wasnt trying to be smartassed, just pointing out that there is a limit to what people should publicize. :)

i do agree with you on the deterrent thing to an extent.

seems to not work so well for Xpays.. they are very vocal about protecting their content.. Yet time and time again people steal it. The problem is, most of the content theft is done by surfers or webmasters outside our industry (ie torrents..rapidshare, password forums ect..ect..)

So even if a company was very vocal inside our industry, it's still not going to stop much.

If you challenge content on most sites (tubes/group/whatnot), it will mysteriously disappear quickly. lol.

our sales are steady and now we have launched a feed too :pimp

consider the fact that we have the best selling video of the millennium and HotelHeiress has steadily (4 years now) been ranked at Alexa (alexa is not great but it does show you that we can exist).. as we find theft, we shut it down. repeat offenders have been sued in federal court and we are here and proud of it!
