Offshore Banking in Belize

Anyone got an offshore banking account in belize? Got my current offshore firms split over cypern and the isle of man but its getting worse to deal with these countries every day :2 cents:
Share your expirience with offshore banks here please.. :winkwink:

in general the Belize banks arent that reputable

hit me up for more details if you really want, i dont feel like writing a long post

by 'cypern' i guess you mean Cyprus? in that case its a country with better banks, but if you have a personal account there and are an EU citizen, be aware that your banking info might be shared to your local authorities

also, why you say its harder to deal with isle of Man and Cyprus nowadays?
if you have a company account, you're 'safe'

edit: dont really have THAT much details about belize but i researched their banks and I must say the Cyprus banks are considered more trustworthy

If you are interested in an offshore solutionin Belize, we can talk about it at the Mallorca show. Just ask MaDalton, he will introduce you. If you are going to Thommys party on Sunday, IŽll be there as well.

Panama is a great place to do offshore banking.

If you meant Cyprus, it's a pretty good place to have corporate accounts with the low corp tax rate they have going on over there... Isle of Man isn't really recommended these days.

Belize is one of the better offshore jurisdictions out there... a few banks cater to offshore entities (Provident Bank and Trust and Caye Bank come to mind). It's not quite as good as the best banking country in the area (Panama) but it could serve your needs.

Panama banking might be great (although I wouldn't say that the banks there aren't bankrupt-proof) but there's a shitload of red tape opening a bank account there and you need a frigging lawyer for that.

Best thing is to fly to Belize...Stay at Caye Caulker when it isn't business hours....Take a ferry boat to Belize City in the day, go to the bank of belize, corporate services, which is walking distance from the main bank...

Bring 1,700, a Passport, a bank reference, and a lawyers reference and you'll be good to go...You'll be set up with your debit card and internet banking.

Indeed, going offshore isn't just "flying to a tax heaven" there's allot more involved.
Specially if you don't wish to end-up with allot of trouble you never heard from in the first place.
