What a good rule of thumb to delete someone?

Havent sppoken to em in 3 months? 6 months?

I amm gonna send mass icq saying "Hi who are you? " is that not polite?

My icq avatar shows my inverted penis. That one is me..

I look through the history and if there's nothing business related or important... deleted.

it took me 30+ min to delete about 80% of my list... the next day.. they were all back.. :(

I don't even look at my ICQ list anymore... just open it, and wait for people to start bitching... handle most of my outgoing contacting through AIM these days.

To keep adding people to my list, I've had to sort people into different groups - 2 of which are "old contacts1" and "old contacts2". If I don't have any recent conversations - that's where ya' wind up in.

I have way to many and they all try and say hey baby lest talk .. And i talk and they are super freaks !!!

I think mine is full of webmasters about link trades when I first started and program reps that are no longer with the program that I had them associated with.

Why not use GTalk? Two best things I like are:

1) History is saved on web, your gmail account. So, your laptop, office PC, home PC .. all are synchronized in terms of chat history. And you don't need to backup and restore it.

2) Built-in email system. Contact is offline? want to send something? Shoot an email .. instead of leaving offline msg, "bro, whats your email? I gotta send you screenshot" lol ..

may be #2 is not a big deal, but #1 sure is.

Plus, I am tired of troubleshooting ICQ.

I always delete the folks on gfy that I dont know.

could it be that Juicy is in my list and I don't even know? ....... but yeah I do have the same problem... bunch of people I don't recognize at all!

I keep an 'inactive' folder where I move anyone I didn't have anything to deal about in a decent while to keep a bit of an overview.

One of them is me :)

I have more than 600 people in my list and I probably only talk to or know 5% of them. I'm too lazy to clean it up.

Since your contacts don't piss you of, let them there in the list and just forget they exist :)
