There are hundreds of thousands of films out there that no one has seen... I'm not sure if it would be a good use of time for everyone to list them all?

;)

CheeseHead Nacho Burger 07-09-2008 08:32 PM

I flat out refused to sit down for 4 fucking hours watching that crap Titanic....

tony286 07-09-2008 10:20 PM

I never saw Gone with the Wind.

mikesouth 07-09-2008 10:30 PM

OK this may be a tad off track but I saw a movie last night most of you probably have never seen. Im generally not a horror fan, zombie movies and slashers and such tend to bore me.

That said

I watched Takashi Miike's "Imprint" last night in full HD

whoa, now thats the most disturbing movie I have ever seen. A real horror movie.

If you are into amazing cinematography, camerawork, and a movie that will leave haunting mental images in your mind, this is a master work. I don't think I have ever seen anything that examines good and evil at this level, truly stunning.

It wa soriginally set to air on Showtime as part of the masters of horror series but showtime yanked it and refused to run it saying it was "too disturbing"

Watch it if you can find it.

Kevsh 07-09-2008 10:38 PM

I didn't see any of the newer Star Wards films, nor any of the Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter. I think fantasy in general doesn't interest me anymore, especially ones that are clearly designed to push merchandise (that's a shot at George Lucas, btw). For me know, it's all about a strong story and characters, and likely minimal effects!

I do love classic films and have many, among my favorites are Hitchcock and James Cagney films. I holding out on Gone With The Wind so I know there's always one truly great film I haven't seen.

It really is that good, its on DVD but very hard to find, I highly recommend HD if you can get it, apparently Starz ran it at least once.

mikesouth 07-09-2008 11:33 PM

heres the trailer, but it doesnt do the movie any kind of justice, usually the trailer is better than the movie, not on this one

Dude, the wife and I watched Borat one night and we nearly PISSED ourselves laughing. If you don't like the guy, I could see how you might not like it, but otherwise, the first time you see it I think you'll like it.
