Smart Thumbs help anyone?

Well I consider myself to be pretty tech savvy so I'm frustrated that I can't figure this out.

I installed Smart Thumbs recently as someone suggested it is one of the better TGP scripts and I could try it for free and later upgrade without having to reinstall.

I got it installed and I've read the initial setup instructions more than a couple of times but between the bad English in the text and the non intuitive setup procedure I'm getting a little frustrated.

I'm at the point where I'm trying to generate an index file. I've made a category, got a few sample galleries uploaded but now I'm getting this error when I try to "rotate" the index:

Code:

Thumbs group Movies rotation log:
Group category: ALL
Marks in template: 3, add new/old: 2
Unique galleries in group: 1 (enabled - without text & deleted & autocropped & used before galleries)
Not enough galleries for full rotation functionality in this group, add more galleries into database!
First part found galleries: 1
Autocasting found galleries: 5
New part found galeries: 0
Warning: Second query found 0 galleries (new/old part).
Warning: Third query found 0 galleries (last part).
Last part found galeries: 0
Warning: Fourth query found 0 galleries (1st rescue).
Not enough galleries -> 1st rescue galleries: 0
Rescue autocropped galleries: 3
Not enough galleries -> 2nd rescue galleries: 1
No spots for specific time & position found
No clicks spots found

As suggested, I've tried adding more galleries, my summary page now reads:

Quote:

All thumbs / texts: 118 / 12
New thumbs / texts / niches: 1 / 12 / 118
Autocropped: 117
But I'm still getting the error. Am I missing some instructions on a certain gallery threshold before I can generate an index file?

Also, is this really considered the best bet for TGPs or are there more intuitive alternatives?

Appreciate any help, thx.

No, I think I'll try a different script.
