One of our local shopping malls celebrated their 50th anniversary this weekend - and marked the occasion by displaying some nostalgic memorabilia from past eras.

Totally, I remember having it brought out on Roller Skates too.

Unfortunately, Roller Blades DO NOT push up an ass like a good ole pair of Roller Skates, man I miss that.

Oh, hell yea! That was one of my favorite places when I was a kid. I don't think there is one around here anymore. I use to love the chili dogs with an orange soda...of course the frosted mug of root beer was the bomb :thumbsup

We still have A&W around here, but most are relegated to mall food courts or combined with other fastfood chains.

No drive-ins left. :(

There is an A&W in my small town, and the chill dogs are still hot

of course I remember A&W drive-in's - there may be some of the drive-in's left - when I went to school in London, Ontario in the mid 80's there was still one when u came into town and we'd go in the middle of winter with the car heater on full. wonder if it's still there.

A&W rocks, i got 3 mugs, and eat there once a week

I miss A&W. I always used to eat there with my grandparents. Good memories.

I remember all of that except the uniform. The uniforms I remember were butt ugly brown. None of the A&W's I've ever been to have served chili dogs either. Whistle Dogs only.

a & w must be having a special or something....i was in a mall yesterday and their line up was almost as long as tim hortons....and that is saying something

Yup, and there is still one down the road from my house and they still bring the tray to your car and hang it from the window.
