Porn.tv + Porno.tv and Females.com - Who's buyin'?
 

I have to make a last push for these ones, and I'm reposting these HERE by another member's request/recommendation (thanks Man O War). As you can see, these are not the typical domains for sale and serious adult players need to see this vs. it wasting away in Buy/Sell.

Porn.tv + Porno.tv: Offers of at least $300,000, I've had both an offer of $250,000 and a compelling long-term offer of $150,000 upfront with ownership + share of long-term profits after.

I tried to post the porn/porno pair without saying what they were to possibly respect one's decision to privately get a top pair of domains, but apparently no one cared, SO here they are. Normally premium .tv domains of those caliber cost tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars per YEAR to register from Enom the registry (which is why you rarely see any of them around with sites) - these are only $50/yr. Because top .tv domains are so rare to see and these are the best adult ones besides Sex.tv (which I believe the owner is paying $500,000 to $1 million per YEAR for), that makes them particularly noticeable and elite. Whether you want to make the next HUGE tube site, VOD, cam, or other porn video or stream kind of site, you simply CANNOT go wrong with this pair.

Females.com: Offers of at least $150,000 needed.

This is as close as you're ever going to get to Girls.com or Women.com and obviously costs a tiny fraction of what they would cost. Make it a porn site, lesbian dating site, etc. Also easily memorable and catchy.

I'd prefer email or ICQ'd offers but if you want to throw offers in this thread, by all means. I would PREFER upfront offers on both, and it would be more profitable to YOU to do it that way, but offer what you wish.

Females.com is a nice domain name. Good luck on the sale.

No offense but the offers I mentioned having gotten already are from people in this business. Wall street types don't want adult domains. For them I have Yen.com to push also...

Personally I've never had any luck from .tv domains No one seems to remember them, they'll always type the .com version. Good luck with the sale tho.

I'd maybe say more so with porn.tv and porn.com. Wouldn't you? I just think people will remember porn.com easier.

I don't deny they'd remember porn.com easier, but to say they wouldn't remember porn.tv...it's one thing if it's a longer name - with longer names people don't remember extension as well if it's not .com. On shorter names though it's not as difficult. I've sold top 1-word domains in obscure extensions for that very reason - even if the extension is barely known at all, it's remembering the keyword + 2-3 letters vs. the keyword + 1-3+ other words. One of my larger previous sales was Poker.in for $60,000 and I guarantee you .in's not even close to .tv in memorability. People are seeing .tv more and more in TV ads especially and on video related sites (which rebrand the extension).

The price we're still looking for on Porn.tv and Porno.tv together is $400,000. Have had an offer of $250,000 on Porn.tv alone but that won't cut it.

dreaming is ok as long as you are not sleeping, you are not getting anyone in this business (adult mainstream) to pay you this kinda money end of story, your best bet is to find some doctor or lawyer with cash and convince them its a good investment.

It might be a high price, but Porn.tv is a great name. With cable, satellite, and internet merging in various ways, I think this site could be developed by someone with cash into something very big.

I personally would take the $150,000 offer and keep part of the ownership/profits in the future. Any of the offers you already have are very decent, IMO.

That's funny...I somehow managed to get someone in the adult mainstream to offer a quarter million dollars for just one of the names in the Porn .tv pair. Unless I was actually sleeping and dreaming when that happened. :1orglaugh

You are way off on that statement

You may be right, but consider that anyone outside this industry only has the gain of reselling the domain and/or holding on and reselling the domain, and unless they are trying to sell the name to the same people I am (the adult industry), then they'd be selling to someone who again would be looking to do the same thing.

They aren't going to pay as much as someone who would actually make a site and could benefit way more than the cost of the domain.

Not unrealistic... I was offered more than 3x that for HookUP.com - domain name only. Just for perspective. Respectfully.
