I have a friend that has one. '07 I believe. Rides nice when not in sport mode. Handles like it's on rails when it is. 500HP. Pretty damn fast too.

the c55 is much softer then a 2006 M3, so handling wise it dosnt even come close to an M3. Its got a lot of balls but its nothing to drool about. 0-60 comes in between 5.4 and 5.6 compared to the 2006 M3s 4.8 best time and 5.0 average. But then again you are paying for a more luxuries, softer, easier car instead of a damn near track car... which is exactly what ur looking for.

For what its worth, the 2008/9 M3s are a lot smoother then the previous generation without sacrificing handling/performance.

Thanks, you are exactly right, I am looking for a daily driver but still want something I enjoy driving... Time to give up the Porsche so I have had 3 years of fast, tight handling car...
