Do you pay attention to your Dreams?
How close do you pay attention to your dreams? Have you ever had a really powerful dream, or dreams, that you just can't shake?
Like someone, or something, telling you to do something. Even to hurry up and do something that you maybe have considered doing. Encouraging you in some way. I'm not religious, and don't believe in ghosts, but I have experienced really strong feelings about things I have had dreams about, and had to even go through with the things because it almost fucked up my daily life because these feelings were so strong. If that makes sense without getting too personal. Most likely my subconscious feelings trying to work things out, but I have been having very vivid dreams lately. In the middle of the day, all of a sudden a visual will hit me, and bam - fucks up what I am doing at the moment. Its pretty crazy. maybe they are some sort of electronic message waves sent to your brain. :1orglaugh |
Dreams are ok, but the best is that period when you're almost awake, but not quite. Its not really dreaming because you are conscious and have a more direct control of the thought patterns. I've formed some of my best ideas in that state.

nope cant say i do

It's a trip when you see your dog dream too.
One thing good to do is have a book next to your bed so you can write your dreams down right when you wake up. |
Being a little bit influenced by Jungian psychology I do pay close attention to significant dreams (symbols of the unconscious) in order to enhance my relationship with myself and hence with others.

NO. I try not to.
My sane mind has a problem with what my inner mind tries to say with it's hideous concepts that have true impact on my reality here. I struggle to be just like all of you everyday. My innermind is fucked up and insane. So no... I attempt to block out the idea that I am not supposed to be here, I attempt to block out that I have a greater purpose. I am not some simian degenerate being like all of you who have to live under this noisy and destructive sun in some BS part of the fucking universe that mutates perfect genetics to squabbling fucked up life forms such as yourselves. See... Like I said.. No I try not to pay attention to my dreams. |
The best ones are the ones that are like 3 seconds long but take an hour to explain. Right before you wake up usually. I started keeping a journal for like a month and then creeped myself out on how much of it actually manifested itself into truth.
I'm a total believer in "paying attention" if you can do it without getting scared or bothering other people. |
yeah dreams are a trip.
I keep trying to shrug it off and get back to what I am doing, but something is telling me to go go go. Almost like some weird instinct kicking in. I think I'm just trying to continue chasing my happiness, and my mind is being really dramatic about it. I think it is going to win, and if I have to act on these instincts to shut it the hell up, I will. My subconscious is throwing a tantrum. |

No good dreams last night. But I am still stuck on Sunday night's dream anyhow. :)
|
I had a dream last night that I was executed point black with a gun... It was really disturbing, everything faded to black and I couldn't hear, and I remember panicking that this was it, and I was dying, and it was all over... It was black like that for maybe 5 seconds and then I woke up. Kind of freaky.

When you dream there are no rules, people can fly, anything can happen. Sometimes there is a moment as you are awakening when you become aware of the real world around you, but you are still dreaming. You may think you can fly but you do better not try. People can fly. ~ Astral Projection

I had a dream last night about someone stealing my neighbors cat.

sometimes when i dream something normal
|
I hardly can remember my dreams...

I am able to control my dreams much of the time. So for me it's fun to sleep, so long as it's a dream I can take control of.
The trick is... you have to figure out you are dreaming. Once you realize you are in a dream, you own it. While you can't control every aspect of the dream, meaning what is going to happen, what something looks like or the environment, you can control YOUR actions and what YOU do in the dream. If I want to fly, I can fly. If I want to have a gun, somehow I have one. |
Of Course....
|
I pay close attention to my dreams and I even have a book to look up their meaning.
