Dutch people! A couple of questions.

Planning to relocate to The Netherlands for a year or so, with my husband and our 6 month old son. I've been browsing through a couple of websites looking at apartments for rent, and I find them rather confusing.

My first question:
Is it possible to rent an apartment for 600e/month max. in your country? Not necessarily in any of the biggest cities.

Second question:
Are there any websites (in English) I could look at? The websites I've found so far are xpatrentals.com and pararius.com.

Any info is greatly appreciated :)

Like nick said, you should look a little bit outside of the centre if you dont want to spend hugh amounts on rent.

lol, yeah, well currently we live in Finland, 500e/m for 1 bedroom 60m2, and Finland is supposed to be slightly more expensive than Holland, so I figured it must be possible to find an apartment in the same price range, obviously outside the city centre, and we're not even dreaming of living near Amsterdam.

I just realized that the cost of living chart only compares cities, and my fact might be accurate when comparing Helsinki to Amsterdam. According to the chart Moscow is the most expensive city, but that obviously doesn't mean all Russians pay more than the rest of us :winkwink:
