New Friday The 13th trailer!

I don't like it as good as the comic con sneak peak that was released, but it's nice to see one that's in higher quality.

That looks so awesome, can't wait!

georgiaasphalt 10-23-2008 06:49 PM

nice! Love that stuff!

CaptainHowdy 10-23-2008 07:13 PM

Holy shit! Thanks for the link ...

JaneB 10-23-2008 10:55 PM

It looks good but it is just a remake of the original Friday the 13th. The remake of Halloween sucked.

Bro Media - BANNED FOR LIFE 10-23-2008 11:16 PM

Nice, I can't wait for it, I love the Friday the 13th series.

Are you talking about Rob Zombies version? because I think it's very well done.

Yes I was talking about Rob Zombie's version. It is ok, but not nearly as good as it could have been.

Kudles 10-24-2008 01:02 PM

Wow that looks pretty good

InternetIsForPorn 10-24-2008 01:10 PM

Ahh, so it's a remake of the original.

I was very WTFed with the latest movie... where Jason became a terminator in space. That was seriously WTF DUDE???

This trailer is OK. But I don't know about Jason. He looked very slim and fast there.

PS the remake of Halloween was very well done imho.

aico 10-24-2008 01:14 PM

How exactly is that a remake of the original when it was the mother who killed everyone in the first one?

Profits of Doom 10-24-2008 01:16 PM

It looks like a complete reimagining of the first one instead of a remake. In the original Jason's mother did all of the killings, and the Jason with the hockey mask didn't appear until part 3. The second I saw Michael Bay's name attached to this my hopes went completely in the toilet.

The Rob Zombie remake of Halloween was incredible because it fleshed out the story a little more and added to the original instead of trying to rewrite it. The kid that played the young Michael Myers was a creepy little fucker...

Enemator 10-24-2008 01:19 PM

Michael Bay? So what can we expect? A mask that transforms into Freddy Kruger's knife-gloves? And Mom talking the black lingo because it's "cool"?

Or perhaps Jason who steps on an squeeky toy and goes "Whoops" just when he wants to kill somebody because they "need" to incorporate some "humor" into the movie?

SykkBoy 10-24-2008 03:04 PM

It looks ok and I LOVE the Friday the 13th series, but as for remakes of 80's movies...

I'm more excited (well as excited as I can get about the prospects of a remake of 80's horror movies) about My Bloody Valentine

Wow that is an awesome trailer. I liked the original movie. I will have to go and see this one when it comes out.

rayadp05 10-24-2008 05:04 PM

I bet it is going to be good. I'll be watching it.

[ScreaM] 10-24-2008 05:08 PM

It's going to be awesome.

TheDoc 10-24-2008 05:10 PM

Wow, as lame as all the other 100 of them. Could they pleasellleeseee stop making this stupid ass movie.

I hope they don't butcher out all the gore like they did in the original.

notoldschool 10-24-2008 05:50 PM

I like the fact that he moves fast again like the original. The slow walking after girls falling all over themselves is lame. Im scared about the Michael Bay thingy. The 3D valentine trailer looks lovely.

DefaultMan 10-24-2008 06:02 PM

It looks pretty cool but I heard it wasn't completely a remake or a retelling. I read that you are supposed to be able to insert the story anywhere between #2 - #4. Basically before he turns into a zombie (#6 +).

SomeCreep 10-24-2008 07:53 PM

Cool beans

Bojangles 10-24-2008 09:49 PM

Friday The 13th IS awesome and I think this could be a good remake.

Everyone should keep in mind that Michael Bay did not write, nor direct this movie.

The description under that trailer says Friday the 13 remake. So that would lead anyone to assume that is the first one since it did not say part two, three, four, etc. It would be cool if it took parts from a few of the different movies. Guess I will have to go see it and hope it is good.

Description:
A group of young adults discover a boarded up Camp Crystal Lake, where they soon encounter Jason Voorhees (Mears) and his deadly intentions. This is a new Official Trailer for the Friday The 13th (2009) remake.

Bojangles 10-24-2008 10:18 PM

It is a remake/re-imagining. In other words, they're re-creating the original.

Slick 10-24-2008 11:07 PM

Looks good :) I can't wait.
