Youtube's thumbs up thumbs down comment system

I've noticed that sometimes it seems to change from day to day, some comments will be thumbs up one day and you look the next day and there are no ups or downs at all

do they keep the data on different servers or something? it seems to be inaccurately totalling the ups and down thumbs

everytime someone votes on a comment it can change all it needs is a -1 rating to be thumbs down and a +1 to be thumbs up.

So say for example a comment is at 0 and someone votes thumbs up, it goes to thumbs up. then the next day two people vots thumbs down, then it's thumbs down. with millions of people on YT everyday it's pretty normal if you think about all the people commenting and rating.

I agree with you on that possibility, but it seems to me too coincidental sometimes that the whole mainpage of comments will come up all at zero when the day before the ratings were all various

It is hard work down thumbing a bunch of dumbass comments just to go there the next day and see all zeros again :1orglaugh

I'm wondering if something is wrong there. My favorites have the same video posted
twice in my profile. Then it's only there once when I view all.

And videos that seem to have no offending material are removed/taken down like
it's a mistake or something.
