I noticed something that when it comes to shelling out money here, most people value most domains at nearly reg. fee, unless they are obvious $50,000 domains.... the market for $500 to $2000 domains is seriously full of non-believers for the most part, unless you can guarantee them that it is no-work-required-guaranteed-all your money back in 6 months-revenue..... an undeveloped domain with potential is a ridiculously tough sell to where you might as well keep them most of the time
but on the other hand, there are many sellers with ridiculous expectations too, like un-aged domains that they suddenly think are worth 4 figures there are the odd exceptions when you have a domain that fits what a sponsor is looking for perfectly, then the sale goes quickly and smoothly, but for the most part putting anything up here seems to be an invitation for ridicule from the peanut gallery that will only pay $15 for any domain anyways :1orglaugh |
but I'm not an expert, the most I've ever gotten for a domain is $500, so I am sure there are people here that will tell me that they do well in the $500 to $5000 domain selling range (although I'd be surprised if that is on here selling domains to webmasters)
welcome some input from the ones that sell that kind of price range regularly, I am curious |
