are you asking how to prevent people from right clicking and saving images from a web page?

it's not dreamweaver specific, but there are ways you can *try to* make images unable to be saved. search the good for "disable right click" or "disable saving images" for some code.

but... technically if an image is on your page and someone visits it, they have already "downloaded" it all you'll be doing it making it harder for them to save it somewhere they can access easily

if that's not what you were asking about... my bad...

Use Flash.

make the image a background image and then put a transparent spacer.gif on top of it.

There is only one thing you can do and one thing only; that is, do not publish the image on the web in the first place.

It does not matter what code you apply or what program you use...if someone wants it bad enough they will, without fail, save that image.

so i guess we all said all that to say...

NO

Yea but print screen takes a lot more work. it means they have to manually crop and save every image in a photo shop like program. If I was trying to stop the average user, I'd use the background image method with the transparent .gif over it.

At least that way it's likely you will fool them at first. They likely will go back to find a bunch of blank images saved. It's a old method that I'm surprised no one really uses.
