How can I get my chat room busy?

I have a dating site and I installed a chat room. Its always either empty, or has 1 or 2 members in it.
I want it to get really busy but I dont know the best way to do it.
Any ideas on how to get members to flock to my chat room? I was thinking maybe doing a contest or something. I dont know.

As with all surfer interaction, if you can get people to go in there and start talking, others will follow. If it was a forum Id fake posts, but with a chat room you either need a bot or to pay people to get it started.

The easiest way is time and consistency. I also have my chat room for about a year now and it is always up and down.

thats a good idea.

I don't know how sexually agressive the community is, but try running a looping feed of a couple of camshows maybe.
