I now need roughly 25% more traffic than I needed before to earn the same money I was earning before. That is just the difference in ratio's and sales. Does not bring in any needed growth, inflation, or any of that. Nor does it cover the extra hours spent trying to get it, the extra costs involved in it and such. To top it off I do niche - primary micro niche stuff which sells better than more common stuff. My common stuff has truly tanked hard and I am glad I do not depend on just that. Point is you can only increase your workload so much.

This has been my best week in months.

my cam sales are rocking, subscriptions down a bit, but not too bad.

I'm noticing more and more of a correlation between what is happening in the stock market and my sales in any given week. When there is great uncertainty and the DOW drops, my sales tank. When there is a rebound in stocks, my sales return.

Paulson, Bush and the GOP are fucking shit up for businesses across the board - scaring the shit outta consumers. People arent in the mood to surf for porn when they see their investment portfolio shrinking and nothng but bad news and fear-mongering about the economy :2 cents: :( I cant wait for january 20th :thumbsup

We've actually been doing really well. September, October and the first week of November were really awesome. This week was weak :/

I know it sucks, I've been around long enough to see the decline in sales ratios however it seems in these days you have to just keep building and hire out what you can't do your self.

better than last month but still off from the norm.

One bad week for me. Down about 20% we still have a few hours in the day and tomorrow that could make up some of it.

And I am 1:5 (max) with a different site - means nothing really. Ratio's really do not say crap and anyone who pretends to say they are even 1:500 with all traffic types - first page clicks, is full of shit.

Sales for November have been terrible, ratios about 3 times normal for me.

Pretty steady, growth from last month actually.

Wow this is a sad thread for most of you, I've had a great month and typically my network of sites continues togrow each month like they have for many years.

I made a few tweaks that have seemed to improve my ratios.

As far as my monthly averages are concerned I am up about 15% from the last two months. As far as my daily average the past two days have been down about 25% but the beginning of the week rocked.

I agree with After Shock Media in regards to doing more work to earn the same numbers as before. Although I have not been in the industry nearly as long, I was earning great money off of a few sites two years back. My income has multiplied 3-4x since then but I have increased my number of sites by 500%. :2 cents:

This month is 10k higher than expected, and its only halfway over!

as someone mention here stock market, as stock trader, I see some type of relationship too. when there is a bad week for a stock, there is a bad week for sales and opposite.

last week was great, but this week it's average. but this month looks way better than the last
