Fog is an eerie thing
#1 I can't sleep (almost 5am here) to late to take an Ambien CR now.
#2 It's been very foggy the past two days. On Sunday, I woke up to the sound of the foghorn at the lighthouse about 3.5 miles across the water from my house. It's the eeriest sound I know. It's automated, of course, so it only goes off when it's foggy and it detects a ship in the channel. When daylight hit, my house looked like it was in the clouds. Could barely make out the roof of the house below mine and never saw further than a block then entire day. It thickened again last night and the foghorn has sounded a few times. With it now Monday morning, I'm sure I'll hear it several more times during the day. Now if it were windy also, I'd be hearing my 'bouy' bell windchime. All I'd need is a few sea lion or seal noises in the background and it would be complete. PK |
Where do you live? Clinton?

I kind of the dig the early morning fog around here... fun to take jogs with the puppies through it.
The smoke that's been hovering recently sucks balls. Can't wait for that to clear up and get our blue skies back. |

one time at my crib on Key Peninsula the fog was in the entire bay came all the way up to my house on the 150 ft cliff .. was kind of cool looking over the fog as if you could walk on it.

I love the fog. I stayed in a high rise in AC once and woke up about 3 am. Went to go look out the window and it was just gray cloud. It was like the world disappeared. Kinda scary and cool all at the same time.
