I forgot all about the update and then instantly remembered when I went to watch a movie streamed from my computer and rushed to update... then spent the last 3 hours exploring and adding a shit tons of netflix instant videos to my account

I'm updated and already installed this and activated my account. Tried one movie and was impressed. Nice library of titles they let you access. Definitely a nice add on feature for an already great XBL update.

This just destroyed ppv on demand, at least for me....I'm giddy about all the shit I can watch on here.

I've been downloading shows via Xbox for a while now, this just takes it to the next level. :)

Pirated videos don't even compare to the 12,000+ library of streamable movies netflix has and with good quality instantly streamed to my 360 with nothing but an internet connection.

You're pretty fucking spot on, it's bad enough being able to stream videos from my PC to my 360 was bad enough, but I had to wait for them to download, and good dvdrips to be put up etc, etc, now I don't have to do anything, just goto netflix.com load up as many movies as I can, and just watch them, delete it straight from my 360, and add more when the list gets low...

Pretty fucking rad, $20+/mo for netflix, verses the amount of money spent in gas, and time, plus just the movie, not including late fees etc, to rent a movie from the rental store... then it's still cheaper then PPV on demand.

This sounds awesome. One more reason I need to update my X-Box to the 360.

Did you hear that less than 24 hours before the launch a bunch of streaming titles were unavailable. They were all titles owned by Sony, maker of the Playstation...lol. They seem to have wanted to cause some trouble for Microsoft.

Yeah you can do that with PlayOn also. PlayOn also works wit the PS3. PlayOn also allows you to stream Hulu. Don't see XBL offering that anytime soon.

Just noticed another cool thing, you can install games from the DVD to the HDD so you don't have to listen to the DVD drive whirring away. Nice.

That's one thing I always hated about the 360 was how loud the drive was.

It's a waste of harddrive space until they make it so you don't need the cd even in the tray to play... because you still have to put it in... so you're wasting 5.5gb of your harddrive for alittle whistling sound..

You obviously don't play your games loud enough. I got my shit blasting on surround sound, it's the only way I can hear those little fuckers sneaking up behind me in COD.
