I have been wanting to do this for a while but was procrastinating. Finally did.

i do mine a different way that is actually easier because you don't have to add the heading on every page which gets tricky if you aren't working with php or shtml...but i think linux hosting is required to do it this way.

create a 16x16 image, name it favicon.ico and upload to your main directory

Mine worked, however when i save it as a bookmark in Firefox it just shows at the default page icon, unlike GFY!
