Anyone get a similar email from 'Adrienne Manning'?

All I can say is - what a crock of shit. Either MelissaMoney needs to remove the content if your affiliates are going to get waste of time bullshit over it, or Sweet Adri needs to fuck off and try to intimidate the right people because the content is still freely available on MelissaMoney.com (see: http://galleries.sweetadri.com/pb02/...OjI,0,0,0,1150)

Unless SHE took the photos she does not have rights to them. The copyright falls under the photographer first, unless there is a clear contract stating otherwise. :2 cents:

my advice would be to get a real legal opinion. berra.org is a good firm if you need a lawyer.

The gallery + the link to the site you posted have different pictures when I look.

Based on the misspelling of "attorney", the lack of any reference toward the sender's relationship with the model in question, and an absence of any legal mumbo jumbo, I think it's a safe bet that the notice was sent by Sweet Adri herself or a very devoted boyfriend/family member/fan.

DMCA rules are simple, you send an email, you include who you are with a full name address and phone number, you explain that youre writing on behalf of so and so who owns the copyright to so and so

you say you need so and so done and you thank the people

anyone who has any 'attourney' will tell you that, theyre not overly hard to do and if you really want to see some good ones do this

go to chillingeffects.org you can see that even the ones from big companies don't need to look all fancy, you just need to include everything that is asked for and zing bing bang you're there

Exactly... At the very least you should respond back asking for proof that the person writing is the copyright holder etc.

I had a different chicks moronic bf hassle me for awhile about some pics of his gf.. But they actually belonged to a sponsor... The couple sent an illegal (since they did not own the rights to the pics) DMCA request to my host which then dicked around with my site... So now I'm spamming that chicks pics whenever I can...

Probably just some solo girl who found God, got a BF, or had her parents find out what she did. Now she's trying to erase her past.

1) The e-mail is bullshit as others have said. I would also send her an e-mail back stating that you will not promote the site more heavily thanks to her idiocy.

2) I would forward the e-mail to the sponsor so that they could take legal action against the girl if necessary.

The photo is owned by the photographer and or the photorgapher's employer, unless there is a contract that states otherwise. In our industry it's very rare to have some a contract.

I'd just reply with "Learn how to spell, and then provide me with proof of copyright".

If you are using free content and using it in accordance with the sponsors terms for use of said content, then just confirm it by checking with them (step 1 always).

Thanks. Just because someone doesn't have a case doesn't mean they can't try to sue, and like I said - don't have time to deal with that right now.

I did contact MelissaMoney shortly thereafter, and they advised that maybe I should take it down until they could look into it. Kudos to them for a quick response.

Received an email earlier today from Sweet Adri(?):

"please disregard the last email sent about the sweet/hot adri photos intellectual property rights infringement"
