I'm looking for ideas on new games to buy.

right now I'm liking the new Mortal Kombat

I was going to get that but the guy at gamestop said it sucked.

GTA4, I think.

Anyone have Gears of War 2?

If you like the old Mortal Kombat games, then you'll probably like the new one. I bet the guy at Best Buy wasnt even born when the first Mortal Kombat hit the arcades.

But you can ask someone if warcraft is a good game, someone may say it sucks, another may say its awesome.

The new Mortal Kombat is great, if you like the Mortal Kombat series. But if you are a Hello Kitty's Island Adventure kind of guy, then you may not like Mortal Kombat at all.

I'm still hooked on COD4 online. I want to get Saints Row 2, I liked the first one. GTA4 was weak IMO, didn't like it much. I also want to get COD Worlds at War, that looks cool.

My buddies all LOVE Gears of War (I hated it), they waited in line for Gear of War 2, now when I see them online, they are all still playing Gears 1. So that should tell ya something.

I do and it is sick. Fallout 3 is pretty good but takes a lot of time. GTA IV is a great game

I seriously suck at it. I played a lot of BF Bad Company after COD4, and now I just suck, it's so bad, I start laughing.

I don't have the online version. I got the basic $199 model.

oh you are seriously missing out. The way I see it is that the solo campaign is basic training to go online. Online is so much more intense. No degree of game AI will ever compare to get your ass handed to you online.

Cod 4 - Online play is more addictive than anything else, Cod 5 is just a copy and not MW

GOW2 is pretty good - has good online play
Dead Space for your sci fi horror fix - no online

Maybe I will get one later but I need to increase my income before I start doing that.

COD 4, I suck at multiplayer though. I'm used to playing first person shooters with a mouse and keyboard!

Halo 3 siiiiick !

I love Halo, maybe I'll get it this weekend.

Guitar Hero, any of them tbh all great fun! Or the Scene It! Movie Trivia - Both really at the best with group play.

Guitar Hero, I just can't get into that. I'd rather learn to play the real thing. I played an arcade version that was pretty cool though.

COD 4 was outstanding single and multiplayer. Dead Space is a must play as well.

to me an xbox 360 is worthless without xbox live

the multiplayer games is where its at, and it's less then a game to get Live for a full year so, if you're low on cash, make sure it's one of ur first purchases before buying a few games

Call of Duty 5 is good, 4 was better but I still like 5 a lot, new maps, and this one has CAPTURE the flag!

Halo 3 is a very solid game if you've never played it, I havent played it much lately but it's gotten a lot of playing time from me and still will in the future.

GTA 4 was good for a single player game

Gears of War 2, it's good, but I haven't really touched it too much since Cod 5 came out.

It's not just the money, I feel that if I get the live addition I will spend way to much time playing it.

Definitely hold off if you have limited time. I got a 1 month Xbox Live subscription as a gift, and when it expired I was hooked. I then got a 3 month one to just try and ween myself off of it...LOL!! Now I have a full year subscription. You get hooked so playing online:1orglaugh

Tom Clancy's Endwar is my main game right now.

Only get it for the on-line though. You play against 1 other person in a real-time war. You control infantry, helicopters, tanks, transports, artillery, airstrikes, etc. I've had some epic battles that went back and forth for a half hour.

I think it's the perfect combo of strategy and fast paced action.

Shit I love Saints Row 2 personally.
