Entrance page or not? Thanks

I have a UK based girl only adult website (garrysgirls.com) which needs a bit of a revamp with new pics etc. Someone said to me a few days ago (a small time adult film producer) that according to new regs adult sites must have an entrance page with any adult type images the other side of this. I have asked a few other people and no one seems to know for sure.
Can anyone shed any light on this? Thanks.

If no one knows for sure then you have 3 choices. 1 Talk with an attorney. 2. Talk with the processing company. 3. Put it up anyway.

If nothing else it will filter traffic and help to cut back on complaints

For your safety, I say Yes, you need to put an Entrance page. :), because that page works like a disclaimer for you.

Thanks any opinions are helpful, Just wondered if there were any rules. Seems to be a bit of a grey area.

According to what new regs? Are you talking about UK regs or US or?

I'm in process of creating my own paysite, so i'm also interested in "Warning Page / Entrance Page"

Are there any use for this pages exept "Warning / Age check" ?

For example - link trade , or something like this?

I live in the UK but the servers are in the US. Any regs that affect me really I just want to do the right thing first. I don't really want to use an entrance page as it puts me off a bit personally. Another thing I thought of was to have a home page with enticing pics on and more explicit insertion ones in the tour after a warning of such. Dunno any ideas? Thanks.

To be honest I don't know but presume it's purely the first defence against upset people. I would like to find out more about this, I have contacted cc bill for advice, but as yet they haven't replied.

If you run a simple tgp where you promote other peoples shit you dont need to ask ccbill anything.
Garysgirls.com sounds like a site that may contain girls, and since this is the net, that means the girls are naked.
Fuck warning pages, people know what they are clicking.

then using warning page - you have more possibilities defending against ddos attack :winkwink:

warning page - is more for "type in" traffic, if you trade traffic with other site - than you usually get traffic on your main page, and not warning page.

Thanks everyone, I think then I don't really need one.

Not other peoples shit its my own shit and yes it does contain the odd girl (a lot of odd girls in fact). I agree people should know what they are clicking on and I think the warning page is out the window at this stage.
