HELP sidebar.php wordpress problem
 
so i my admin when i change the sidebar.php file it does nothing to the sidebar on my home page. has anyone had this problem or have any ideas? i am using the newest release of wordpress

try changing the file permissions or editing locally and uploading via ftp

what ben said.. its probably not writeable so just edit it in notepad on your computer and upload it by ftp.

Are you using a Cache plugin?

if so disable it while you work.. so you can see the changes

use FTP, screw permissions, also make sure you're looking at the right theme

sometimes with custom themes, they may exclude the sidebar

prob your widgets
