I read it a couple years ago...it's actually a pretty good read. Many will claim it's all BS but there's a lot of good ideas/methods talked about in the book.

was expecting more information/instruction.. it read more like a biography than anything to me.

I wouldn't mind talking to the guy in person though. When you focus on something like that, you are bound to learn tricks that seem obvious to other people once you tell them.

Contrary to popular belief this isn't a guide to picking up women. It's a "true" story about of this guy got involved in the pick-up community. How it changed his life both good and bad.

The Kinos, Negs etc.. from Mistery are just pathethic and not natural tricks, you can trick a dumb girl for a night but wont last lot more depending on her IQ ;) + you have to spend lot of times I imagine to learn them and to be natural with these tricks...

Waine lets you be more natural, with less robotic techniques. He was featured in the Neil Strauss book I think.

i never really understand these books and why people are looking for tips on how to pick up women. i mean should you just be yourself and not approach with any techniques?

every time i pick up a girl it is because i am natural when i over try or over think it it never works out. be natural be friendly but never put the pussy on the pedestal.

This book isn't about learning anything, it's just a story.

I think 'having a routine' when you're trying to hit on a girl is a little weird, but i guess I can put myself in the shoes of a shy guy and it might help a little.

Neil is an old friend of mine who I met while he was living with Marilyn Manson.

I used to LOVE going out and picking up girls, and when I read this book (and checked out some of the resources) I realized I was doing sloppy versions of some of their techniques, anyway. I wish I would have realized how extensive the artform is!

I'm no expert, but it seems a huge portion of the art is confidence and how to "work" standard mental patterns. We all have them. The trick is overcoming your patterns and exploiting hers.
