Traffic Brokers - Full of Shit
I just got spammed by a Traffic Broker claiming "Historically this is a great time for signups" are you for fucking real ??? :error :error :error
No Historically this is a time when shit slows down... hence why I am being spammed to buy traffic... man they must think we were born yesterday... Now let me go and click on the link to take me off the spam list, as Historicaly that happens right... :disgust |
i dont think ill ever buy traffic from a broker again.
|
Traffic brokers traffic is used for feeding sites.Maybe before it could work if sended directly to galllery, but these days....Hardly.

Anyone worth their salt and knows anything about traffic knows that tube traffic doesn't convert and feeder traffic is a step up from 404 traffic, and we all know how that converts. |

his setup is nothing but a $70 entry pyramid scheme |
Hmmm...
Ok and some of his members do that... what do they say, ones born every minute ?
So we are agreed then that feeder traffic/tube traffic definetly isnt for paysites... I have learned my lesson, maybe I should of read the small print better... lol So we're saying it's better for freesites ? I guess a free site as a 100+ options for a sale, as opposed to just one site... |
uh oh another fight

You ask them for references, and then you contact those people and ask them if they would disclose weather or not they were successful following that plan |

Here's the deal, if you want traffic that you can send straight to a tour and has a chance to convert into sales, then check out services that sell textlink spots, like http://www.sensiclick.com (yes, I run that one) or http://www.traffic-out.com |
Thanks
Thanks Damage and Ebus

None of my traffic is brokered. It is MY traffic from MY websites! I'm the source and the seller.

I have heard from more traffic brokers in the past couple of weeks, then I think all year. Except for Choker who e-mails me sometimes 2-3 times a day, and what seems like at least once a week. :disgust |

This has always been my take on traffic, maybe I'm wrong as usual.
Guy (A) has all this traffic that he sells to guy (B) so that he can make a profit on it. (B) has to make a profit somewhere along the line to pay (A) to keep it going. From what I've seen getting good traffic is a lot harder then making a profit off it. So why doesn't (A) do what (B) is doing and not have to bother with selling his traffic? I've heard all the talk about filtering and blah blah. If (A) does not know what his traffic is looking for in the first place why is he splitting it into groups to sell to (B)? And opening a feeder site does not look like rocket science and a good traffic guy should be able to do it. Maybe this traffic is good for feeder sites to trade with other feeder sites buying traffic from other brokers which will not buy anything? Great for the traffic guys to show how much traffic they have. :1orglaugh There is one possible answer to it. (A) does know what it's about, he's a very smart cookie. He skims off the top all the good traffic and all he sells to (B) is the stuff he could not sell something to himself or send to his prime clients who pay the most. As I said I could be wrong and traffic people are sending traffic that makes mega bucks to others. LOL |
traffic brokers traffic has always made back the investment plus profit
|
I have tried 2 partner accounts and even hired a gallery submitter for a couple of months. I wasted a couple thousand dollars doing it. Buying traffic useless so far.
|
I've only found one traffic broker that actually has given me any good results, and I realize that the last 10% of their traffic is the most productive, leading me to believe it's filtered so it keeps you buying.
|
i can say this, when i bought traffic, i deffinatley got traffic! a shit load of it. i think i got 0% sales, but i definatley got traffic!
|
Christmas is the heaviest time for signups... I have been here 5 years and every year Christmas signups are through the roof.
|
Looks like this thread is about all traffic brokers not just one who selling skim traffic. So how then google adwords and other ppc engines works like ask jolene?
|

Ok - I have had success in buying traffic. Not life changing, but success. Im not gonna weigh in to an extreme - Im not an xpurt and dont claim to be.
#1 sending feeder, skimmed, noref, proxy bs - blah, blah to a paysite is BAD for you. #2 sending feeder, skimmed, noref, proxy bs - blah, blah to a FHG's is BAD for you. #3 non US, Canada, or Parts Europe traffic, is not gonna convert (at least not very often). #4 so what does that leave? #5 buying traffic, should include selling traffic #6 buying mixed niche skimmed traffic, proxy, no ref, no cookie traffic - only serves to bring your visitor count # up. Thats not a bad thing from what i found, depending on how its used. I think i have used them all, and most i will never use again - but there are a few good apples in the traffic selling game. I have converted with both trafficadept (DamageX) and trafficholder. Here is a shameless plug (but not for me), rather for juicy - http://www.juicyads.com/ref2.php?ref=1589 <-- with my referral code, so emmm ... you can go ahead and get me the credit for it. But regardless - before you say its all shit, try this, try topspots. Juicy shows stats for locations and %'s of where the traffic for the ad placement your buying is coming from - this might help you pinpoint where conversions are likely to take place. Emmm... high %'s in United States is a big plus. If you buy traffic primary from a country where the living standard is 1$ per day, meaning they make 300-500$ a year ... Do you really think they have the disposable income to purchase a subscription to your bigtitstinydick.com sites? Just a joke, stolen from Dwreck. This may not make you rich, it will bring visitors - a very necessary ingredient to conversions. If done correctly you wont lose your bank, or feel like its a complete waste of time. My 2 cents - again, Im no genius - you think im retarded - tell me, but logically tell me where you feel i have errored. This works for me. Truth is the old timers are right, its not the "Good 'Ol Days" - Oh Shit, now your gonna have to work for it! That works for me, might clear some of this damn saturation out. Good Luck All! |
