SSH clients

Does anybody have any recommendation for which SSH client to use (on Windows)?

I currently use putty, but there seem to be more - just would like to know if any one is better than the other.

Thanks in advance.

Not sure how one might be better than the other. As long as it gets you in, right? What else should it be able to do?

putty is ok, but if you are doing lots of admin work i would suggest securecrt, as you can manage multiple connections via tabs.

you can launch remote commands on connection, place to manage your private keys, can launch sftp in the same session without having to reauthenticate, tunnel support, central place to manage your host keys, etc.

Yuppers ... SecureCRT is worth every penny!

I prefer PuTTY Tray, which is sort of an enhanced PuTTY.

If you need tabs, try PuTTYTabs.

the above 2 are what I see people using all the time on windows

the unix ssh client works great on mac and linux

You may also want to look into SSH-FUSE. It allows you to mount an SSH connection as if it was local.
