the future of porn surfers

its now time to reeducate surfers
a lovely email i just recieved for a new site we just started

----

I joined your site and much to my dismay not a single downloadable video on the entire site, I should have thown my $13 dollars in the garbage instead, or asked the store clerk for 13 lottery tickets that have already been scratched off and deemed to be losers.. I am going to post a negative review of your site on every blog and porn review site I can find on the net if it takes me 2 years..

What good is a membership if you can't download any content.. Wake up people get your videos out in WMV or MPEG or even avi format like the rest of the porno world.. What a sham, such a beautiful girl with such poor website management..

Sincerely: Your fucked over member!

good email and points out what is the difference between your site and a tube site?

at least on a tube site, for $9.99 a month they can download the videos :Oh crap

visitors want to be able to download the videos that they are paying $35 a month to see, as well as images. what is going to keep member retention is downloadable movies in multiple formats (i.e. wmv, mpg, etc. to formats for iphones, blackberry, psp, etc.). just my :2 cents: :winkwink:

Surfers need to understand they are buying "access" to the content for as long as they pay their membership fee.

Do online games like WOW allow you to continue to play their game if you stop paying?

Does Xbox live let you play if you don't pay?

Does Netflix keep sending you DVD's in the mail if you cancel your subscription?

Does cable TV allow you to keep watching if you no longer pay?

I never understood why surfers think that they are buying the "right" to own the content vs use it.

As he mentions blogs and review sites ,seems to me he was pissed he couldnt go and share it all with his buddies....or so it seems in my eyes

the diffrence between an exclusive solo girl site and a tube site don't even compare

surfers need to be reeducated in the fact that downloading everything and watching it whenever they want is the past and exclusive means just that all videos are streaming live with it it should be standard for the future

you wanna keep something buy it on dvd

Totally agree.......

However, buyers of those products aren't confused. There's one or two providers and its clear how they operate.

Adult......hmmmm, everyone is doing everything different.....everything. No wonder people get confused.

not easy to re-educate the surfer, as they have been spoilt by some for too long.

lets just hopw things will turn out better (but i doubt it, looking at the current situation)

Blizzard doesn't stop you from connecting to private servers

neither does microsoft

it a service of delivering content PHYSICALLY to you
that the service you are paying for so of course if you stop paying for it you lose that service

if you recorded/saved a copy of a show you paid for
you can absolutely watch it again and again
cable does nothing from stopping you doing that
they only stop you from getting new shows (think new updates from your site)

you see there was this case called the betamax case
where the big bad content producers made this claim that they were providing a limited licience to view "at a specific time on a specific date" and nothing more, and the supreme court ruled that people had a right to shift their viewing time to whenever they wanted.

I have never understood why site owners try and claim "rights" to their content that the copyright act and the courts have already said were not valid.

Yes, and then you can play them in VLC media player no problem :2 cents:

Iron Fist 01-18-2009 08:30 AM

I wonder how it would go over if every video game manufacturer suddenly said...

"Return your games... were going to a membership, streaming model now... you can download the game from the website and only play if your connected to the website. If you don't have internet, too bad. Have a nice day."

maybe even for movies?

Either way, the general public I don't think will be on board, as people like to be able to "own" something, having it downloadable gives them that ownership. I like your model, it's good for recurring subscriptions, but I just don't think the public buys it just yet.

Si 01-18-2009 08:46 AM

what a fucking cunt!
:1orglaugh

I just paid $13 and want to download every single movie on your site

:1orglaugh
