Jeb = Dubya + 2, so basically not much there.

Like his bro President, Jeb has relied on family connections for most of what he has achieved.

Interestingly, he recently turned down the opportunity to enter the Senate through a vacancy - my guess is that he and his handlers (Baker, Rove, et al), are already plotting and positioning him for a 2012 presidential run, and they figured that the minority Republicans in the Senate will be a feckless bunch to associate Jeb with.

If Obama does well over the next few years, and leading into the 2012 campaign, then I think it will be 2016 before Jeb can even consider a run, and by then he will probably be long removed from the political spotlight, overshadowed by Palin and others (Romney, etc).
