Adsense is looking more useless by the day...
 

You just have to love it when Adsense only puts ads for "gay bear dating" and mail order brides on a site with about 95% female readers :disgust

Yep, I know how it works. The problem is that I'm writing for people, not search engines. The solution is to eventually move away from Adsense to directly paying advertisers and affiliate programs.

Still, it would be nice if I could just specify my target demographic in Adsense.

I agree with you from the perspective of a publisher too, of course that goes against the way the whole system works though.

Well, it mainly seems to go against Google's "algorithms are better than humans" philosophy.

As someone who uses both Adsense and Adwords, I'd love to have the ability to use even flawed demographics.
