Expired domains - how long before they drop?
I know every registrar has a grace period during which you can renew the domain, then there's a redemption period and then they drop. How long is each of these steps?
Well, godaddy is sending me mails a long time after the domain is expired, it looks like they do everything to keep you as the domain owner.. I never took the time for these period but it's pretty long

From ICANNs site...

Sorry, can't help ya!
Nice chart, so it looks like it may vary anyway according to ICANN?
Depends on ICANN.
30 days redemption period and 15 to delete as i know
usually around 60 days give or take a few
decent names will most likely go to auction if snapnames or another company can grab them up |
It seems to vary from different domain registrars in my experience :(
45 days as far as I know.
35 days minimum plus any Registrar flux. Most (not all) Registrars add 10 days. As XXXTV Claire stated it's up to the Registrar but 35 is the minimum.
