Loved Generals, hated the one that came after it. I heard this one wasn't good either.
Post after you play it with your opinion please. |

As for Command & Conquer 3. Yeah, they got a bit carried away with the alien story line, and all that prophet bullshit. Plus the storyline was the same. One of the leaders, or right hand chicks doubt Kane, and you have to go after them. Blah blah. Same as the series before. It was a bit disappointing. I have went back and beat that a number of times but it is not as fun as some of the older ones. |
Red Alert and Red Alert 2 were the best
|
Man, if the C&C series didn't suck, I'd get this just because it has Ric Flair in it.

I used to love Red Alert back in '97

I love Red Alert... but I must say, I love C&C Tiberium wars 3 gameplay compared to RA3. Westwood did a better job than EA. :2 cents:

I haven't played a C&C game -- or many other games for that matter besides poker and Madden -- since Red Alert 1.
Something about the trailers made me want to get into RA again, so I got a souped up desktop and picked it up. TOTAL NOOB. One game in and I realize how slow I am compared to 10-11 years ago when I played RA1 like a madman. Anyone up for a game against a complete idiot who hasn't played one 1v1 game against a human yet? |
RA was one of my favorite games of all time! forgot this was coming out!
|
5 or 6 missions in on the Ruskie side. I can't say I am impressed.
The graphics and game play is a bit different. I do not care for the cartoony graphics. A lot more of the cut scenes. Some of these actors have put on some serious weight. |

I remember playing the first Red Alert a long time ago, that was one of the best games ever. |

Actually I have this game on a shelf but still was unable to find some free tome to play it. Also I still can't get accustomed to XBOX's joystick :( |

I remember playing the first Red Alert when I was working at an internet coffee.Good game

Two sides down (Russia and America).
It takes some getting used to on the new game. But once you get the hang of it, not too bad. As usual, the US have more spy missions, and single type stuff. Also much harder I thought. Highlights.... the British bird who flirts with you, along with McCarthy. Hasselhoff as the vice prez... lol. Only have Japan to play last. Lead by the gay emperor from Star Trek. |
niceeeeeeee

cant wait for it and halo wars
|
Alright. I finished beating the game as Allies, Russians, and Japs.
I like the game better than RA2. Although the game play took, me, a little getting used to. Some of he elements are the same. Some a bit more or less. As always, a few missions that are a bitch. Lots of cut scenes with known, washed up, fatso actors. Super hot hunnies who flirt with you. That British bird is really nice. Some nice new weapons, and thinking out of the box required. There are few times you get to build up your forces like the RA and Generals of old and steam roll everyone. Plus, in all missions, you are linked with a second commander. So you can tell them to cover you, or go attack some shit while you are building up forces, and so on. One last thing. Make sure you keep an eye peeled for resources. Your joint commander will try and seize them all with their engineer if you are not paying attention. |
