Do any sponsors have XML feeds for building photo galleries?
or is it all just "blog style" feeds?
You know how sponsors have "free content" or "downloadable content" in ZIP files for building photo galleries.. do any have the gallery info (title, description, join url) and image files (URLs) in a updated XML feed? something like this:
<gallery>
Blonde babe on couch

This blonde babe can't get enough on the couch with her lover.
<join_url>http://www.sponsorcash.com/?affiliate123</join_url> <images>

</images> </gallery> <gallery>
Amber washing car

Amber getting all soapy and wet from watshing her new car
<join_url>http://www.sponsorcash.com/?affiliate123</join_url> <images>

</images> </gallery>
|
tags, performers, site name are additional fields that would be perfect for this sort of feed.
This would be great for making auto-updating TGPs. These sort of XML feeds exist for tube content, so why not photos? |
Yes very good idea.. Would also like to know.

guess nobody does this yet?

I will have it by the end of the week now that I know someone wants it. I will bump this thread when its done :)

Penthouse.com has such a thing. Here's the text from the affiliate area setup:
"This form will allow you to create an RSS feed (Real simple syndication feed) which you can use to syndicate a list of galleries to include on your site, or that allows surfers to bookmark a constantly updating list of galleries, subscribe to them through services like My Yahoo!, RSS readers and more, all with your referral code! You can use this tool to instantly create pages full of galleries that update every time we add new hosted galleries. Using this tool will allow you to create webpages that update for you, without any maintaining and you get 100% credit from any sales." You can get to this page through the Penthouse Affiliate area (sign up here), then click "Promo Tools" then "Banners" then "XML and RSS Feeds." If you have any questions, please contact me. |

The XML format/method is great since webmasters will be able to setup the feeds on their site and let the script do the updating automatically. I'd like to see 2 new feed types: FHG XML feeds - This is similar to blog style RSS feeds, except there's an additional tag for the preview (thumb) image such as <preview_image>. Blog style RSS feeds usually have the preview images within the
tag, this would keep the preview image separate. Gallery XML Feeds - This is basically what I proposed in my original post. Many sites don't like linking to FHGs and create their own gallery pages with the downloaded images. |
a little over a week but better late than never.
Ok, here is what we got, this is actually live has not been "added" to the webmaster section yet. If you want any tweaks let me know :) I know you are already a webmaster with us so once you login just paste - http://www.slickcash.com/feedstools.php The full dump feature will be added at some point later today. Looking for some feedback first. Site name and tags are also being added shortly PHP Code:
