Educating adult webmasters into the mainstream biz
We're currently developing a product which would be in a form of an exclusive blog where we test and explore all recent money making methods of the mainstream business and share the reports.
This will be aimed at both adult/mainstream experienced webmasters, as well as noobs of the business. While the content, design and everything is almost complete -- with over $700 worth of ebooks read (and methods from them tried) prior to development -- there comes the pricing dilemma. You would initially be getting over a dozen tested methods with reports. And 2-3 new methods every week. The question is - how much would you pay for it. We would be spending over $2,000 every month on testing, getting new information/methods etc. The max billing price is $50. at least 50% would go to affiliates. How much to charge? $10? $20? $40? $50? The mainstream guys averaged at a $34 per month price point. |
Good idea. I would think this could turn into a nice long term money maker, and 2009 option for some leaving adult. Minimizing the risks..

Heh. Funny. I was planning to do the same thing, but for free.

mainstream ppc and ppv coaching courses can run anywhere from $50/month to $1000/month. really depends on the value of the information you have available to share and what your main aim and goal for the project is. do you want a shitpile of newbs at $50 or a dedicated serious team of marketers paying $500+? By the sounds of things you're looking at a newb level community. I'd say anywhere from $25 - $50 is fair. Would really need to know more about what is provided to assess my final opinion.

By the way, as a tiny aside: the seo guide in your sig does not appear in Google search rankings. What gives? |
Like someone said before depends if the info is any good...
If the info is shit, outdated methods that everyone and their dog tried already, then charge $50/month... (if the info comes from ebooks your read it's probably in this category) If the info is actually any good, then don't sell it, use it yourself until it dries up and then sell it... :1orglaugh |
around $30 bucks a month ,thats what i pay for lynda
|
There's also many blogs that post this stuff. You can tell by the comments how it tests out in real life.

nothing new man. hangout on any mainstream board and you'll find them...
