Does anyone want to do business with this person after all this? You decide. I suggest everyone stops doing business with him/her immediately as of now. Besides, there's been allegations of him/her artificially inflating his/her traffic stats and post counts on his/her webmaster forum in order to get more money from the advertisers.

Interesting post. Since I've done business with TheButcher, I can say it came out ok. If you got a bad deal, then maybe you need to look to how you handed it? He has always handle himself professionaly, and taken care of business. Thats all I care about, now if you need kisses and hugs, maybe the playground is where you need to go.

I don't understand these 'businesses' that don't pay. 10k, 50k, maybe could be a problem, but $500?? I just don't get it.

As I"m sure there's no worry of that board stealing any GFY members, that stupid rule...it's no longer an issue.

I can see why he's a 50/50 scammer. Scammed me, and many others. Yet, some people like Compdoctor he didn't scam. And as for "kisses and hugs", I don't see how that relates to somebody paying the amount for the service that has been offered to them, instead of running off with the money like a thief.

As I see it without hearing thebutchers side.

Thebutcher owes fatfoo $2k, fatfoo has been promised the money several times but not gotten them. fatfoo starts a thread on GFY saying thebutcher is trying to scam him, thebutcher tells fatfoo on ICQ that if he doesn't go back to that thread and say it was fake drama and he does not owe any money yadayada he will not get a cent.

I'm still amazed of how people are not more cautious when talking on icq in this biz, everyone has logs.

He is a well known scammer and not a very clever one.

One thing vachagan altounian does is pay back the odd very small deal, thats why you get the odd small time webmaster saying he is OK but just search on google for his fake forum and all his scams.

There are 100's and 100's of threads and posts about this filthy fuck

But he does pay back the odd small fry webmaster so the odd person will say they were not scammed. But its always for a few cents and they are always just small time retards

You can deny it all you like... but the modus operandi of guys like this is to use people like YOU in situations like this. It basically boils down to two camps.

"Camp One" contains the people who are useful and with which he will do small deals with. He will offer amazing deals to get people on board, but rarely any major cash exchanges hands... he will barter a deal, like ad spots for example.

"Camp Two" contains the people who he finds a minor excuse not to pay or to scam.

He will no doubt claim that I am a hacker or a hater.... or make up some bullshit about me being upset with him. Let's take a look at the nature of message boards.... most people post to network, to help each other, to compare notes etc... well in this case it's to warn each other about something.

In the old pioneer days, if settlers found a watering hole that was contaminated they would warn each other.... and that is EXACTLY what's happening here. The fact that you've already drunk out of the watering hole and lived, doesn't mean shit. You may just have been lucky.

In an industry that is "Wild West" and has divisions, allegiances and can easily be fooled by playing one off against another, this 50/50 method works like a charm. Wake up and smell the coffee, he's laughing at you!

Ask yourself why most of the usernames who post on SC do not appear on any other industry board. Do you honestly believe that they are real people?

And even despite the mountain of evidence regarding SC being run in a way that is deceptive and shady, do you think he's a victim of a hate campaign? Do you think everybody is just picking on him?

Or do you think that it's not worth warning each other about things anymore? This industry works upon a degree of cooperation. Without it.... you're fucked. :2 cents:

I agree with cooperation and I support it. I owe much success in this business to the good people who've helped me to figure out who the scammers and cheaters are, their tactics and how they deceive people. Now I will give back to the community by uncovering scammers from time to time.

It fucking annoys me when people take this kind of shit lightly. Calling us for being the "internet police", well let's bring this into the REAL world for a minute, it's called responsible business. The gangster 'bad boy' attitude is fictional bullshit and that's what actually belongs in the playground.
