I am no longer with Waste Management.

It is with a heavy heart but much eagerness that, after 42 years of driving garbage trucks, I have decided to move on and explore new and potentially better opportunities.

I'd like to take this time to thank the Waste Management team for allowing me to "service" their customers over the years. Even though my clothes will smell like garbage for awhile, I will miss the smell of fresh wet trash every day.

As of this coming Tuesday, I will be starting my new job as a Walmart greeter.

I know.

This was a tough decision.

But....And the end of it all it came down to 1 thing.

Walmart has offered to provide me with a clean apron once every 2 weeks. How can I possibly pass that up?

Roald 02-15-2009 12:08 PM

Must've been a tough call between Walmart greeter and school crossing guard.

I'd have gone with crossing guard - you can work on a summer tan and meet all the soccer milfs.

Hmm...

Locally our Walmart greeters have to don the reflective vests when they do double-duty as shopping cart retrievers.

HorseShit 02-15-2009 11:24 PM

Saw you when I walked in today Aaron, how many times did you eat at that Mcdonalds next to you?

rowan 02-16-2009 01:05 AM

Once you find out the secret, PLEASE let me know why it takes 10 minutes to place 2 stickers on items that I'm going to return. :thumbsup
