Incorporating in the EU

I'm helping a consulting client get a European (German) merchant account setup to load-balance against their US merchant account, but to get that done I need to incorporate them in the EU (they're a US corp).

I was told Gibralter was the solution, but was later told neither Gibralter or Cyprus will incorporate adult companies. Now I'm being told UK is the best option. Anyone have any experience with this?

Bump for a business-related thread. I hate it when these drop like a stone and troll warz threads get 10000000000000000 pages. Anyway, here's a bump, bro. I hope you get the answers you're looking for.

I have a buddy here in the states looking to do the same. he just wants to incorporate in the EU, doesn't need banking and doesn't plan to use it as a tax shelter.

Stay away from cyprus because you need to send audited accounting to governement and it's a real pain in the ass and it's really expensive. Got told Gibraltar inc with account outside of the country is the best. You need to do a declaration every year but you can do it yourself.

:2 cents:

You can incorporate in Germany as a Unternehmergesellschaft (haftungsbeschraenkt) at a cost of 21 Euro (about 20 Euros for the notary and at least 1 Euro initial capital.
