linked in stats

What are some websites that provide stats on other sites? I know of Alexa but I seem to remember a long time ago that there was a statistic website that also had an in depth list of sites that link in to whatever site you were inquiring about.

I know Alexa has this for some sites but for two of mine, which I have link trades in many places, alexa has not listed any. And for a friend of mine who a simple google of her name will find thousands of sites linked to her they list only 28 links in.

Are there any sites that offer linked in stats? Or is there a way to search google just for links?

you can search google and yahoo for backlinks by searching this

link:domain.com

I just tried this and it says zero results.

There is no way I have zero links in, I have first page google results for keywords I've targeted through link trades lol

okay, I just tried this on other engines and for anyone that cares Altavista is awesome, it produced 643 results when google and others said zero.

You have 0 links that google feels the need to display. They are quite testy about what is a backlink.

yah I can see that lol but that is not very helpful when you are trying to find out where someone else's traffic is coming from :winkwink:

Thank goodness for Altavista...0 to 643 is quite a difference!

I just used link:domain.com in altavista and it also appears to suck :( Did you do a search another way?
