Need new page creator

I've been using netscape composer for 12 yrs... and it's waaaay past time to use something better, plus the fact that it won't work on my laptop which runs vista 64 bit. I need a pretty good wysiwyg type as I have extremely limited HTML knowledge, and at 73, am too damned old to try learning it now. Can't afford the high priced stuff I've seen, and don't really want a bare-bones one either. Funds very limited at this time, as like many others, my web business is barely surviving the recession.

Hi Wally, try 'frontpage' - it's the biggest insult to HTML there is, but it is simple and you can make websites without any HTML knowledge.

That or Dreamweaver, which is more of a semi-pro tool.

12 years and you don't know any HTML?? you're not too old to learn...!@

Cheap and easy programs that sound like they would work well for you...

http://www.coffeecup.com/html-editor/

http://www.namo.com/products/webeditor8.php

Or if you can spend more...
http://store.microsoft.com/microsoft...ic &WT.srch=1

Dreamweaver is more for intermediate to experts.

Try NVU - http://nvu.com/
It's a pretty sweet open source wysiwyg editor

Thanks, NVU looks good... but.. I saw this on their FAQ:
Question: Is there a 64 Bit version of Nvu available?
Answer: No, not at this time. If you would like to submit a version please contact us.

I appreciate the rest of the suggestions so far... however, most would be cost-prohibitive at the moment. I know - I know... I should've done this years ago... when $$$ wasn't an issue.

Anybody else have any ideas?

Wally
