WARNING: epassporte won't take paypal withdrawals anymore.
Up until last week it was ok to use paypal's withdraw/to credit card and send to an epassporte virtual visa, taking about 5/7 days, this is apparently not the case anymore since i've contacted epassporte support about a delay on such a transaction and i've been informed that they don't take paypal withdrawals for "security reasons".
In addition, my funds are in limbo now because epassporte won't refund or credit the funds, and paypal says they cannot reverse a completed withdrawal, catch 22. I couldn't find any mention of paypal on the epassporte terms, and there was no notice about this change. (that up until last week worked flawlessly and pretty much fast, closer to 5 than 7 days) So be warned, if you were about to send or are waiting for a paypal withdrawal to your epassporte account you might get your funds hostage. |

I had some outrageous delay with this and I called epass support (international phone call, btw). After 10-15 minutes on hold, I finally got to talk to someone. At first, the so called "customer support representative" wasn't even aware that paypal/epass withdrawals were possible and he argued that it's forbidden, then he implied I was lying, then he'd take a look, then "it's impossible to do this", and so on. After 40 minutes of international phone call, I gave up with that idiot and contacted Paypal. They told me I was right, the error was on Paypal's side and that I'd see the money in epass in a few days, which finally happened. Luckily, this happened only once (I do a lot of Paypal/Epass withdrawals), because a financial company with only 1 (one, ein, uno) CS representative that knows what he's doing is a real nightmare. I'm wondering if epass pays those monkeys something or they are there just for free to fuck up things, I never heard a single story of anyone having any success on his/her epass communications other than with MichaelO
