Scratches on SUV from brushing against bush

Does anyone know what is best to remove scratches on the side of a car from branches and bushes. I don't think they are that deep of scratches. Anything you can do to help is appreciated! Thanks.

LiveDose 03-02-2009 07:43 PM

Possibly a very light liquid rubbing compound but if the car is newish you might want a pro to take a look.

SmokeyTheBear 03-02-2009 07:44 PM

better get maaco

MrPotatoBread 03-02-2009 07:46 PM

Its not brand new 1 year old but I want it to be as perfect as possible.

They are usually just scratches in the wax, give it a good wash and wax, if that don't do it get it buffed. Use a pro if you are unsure about how to do it.

MrPotatoBread 03-02-2009 07:49 PM

I'll take it for a good wash and wax tomorrow then. Hopefully that'll help. If not I'm gonna be pissed at my own stupidity for parking like an ass.

LiveDose 03-02-2009 07:50 PM

Very true. A good chance it's scratches in the wax... Give that a go first.

thanks for the link. I'll stop by automart tomorrow too and see if they have anything there too.

If the scratches arent that deep you can us some rubbing compound then apply some auto wax.

How to know if the scratches arent that deep? Try running your fingernails aginst the scratches, if you can hardly feel them, thats not too deep.

Your chick needs to shave her shit before rubbing up on your car yo

FreeHugeMovies 03-02-2009 10:03 PM

It can be buffed out for like 100 at a local shop

DutchTeenCash 03-03-2009 02:39 AM

yeah get it buffed out the pro guys at those carshops have the gear to do that

UFGators2007 03-03-2009 11:27 AM

Rubbing compound is good, but be very careful or you will hurt it more than help it.

jimmy-3-way 03-03-2009 11:31 AM

Just grab one of those green 3M scrubbies from your kitchen and some dish soap and give it a good scrubbing.

HorseShit 03-03-2009 11:32 AM

Emil will buff it

KRosh 03-03-2009 11:49 AM

I had someone once polished my car with something but I don't know to tell you the substance :( and I was pleased

Supz 03-03-2009 12:17 PM

there are typically companies you can hire that do it for 30-50 a panel

hjnet 03-03-2009 12:52 PM

That's what car polish is for....

cut the fucking bushes down

pornguy 03-03-2009 01:14 PM

DONT EVER let someone use a high speed buffer on your car. if they dont have orbital, you should NOT let them touch it. They can burn the paint.

And some good polish should do the trick.
