Every empire will fall sooner or later. And though I don't personally think the USA will "fall," I am surprised that most of you think it couldn't happen. It sure as hell could. the day I see that I'll kiss my own ass. Most people like to say that they will fight, but it's all talk. The amount of people that will actually fight are not enough in #'s. It's time for people to grow some balls, but I will be dead way before that happens.

True and as Jim said no one sees it until the end.

But none of the listed reasons are why America will fall. The ideals America says it stands for are being eroded but that is not going to bring it down. What will bring it down is the greed of a few,the apathy of the many and the debt that this will bring.

Those lending the money will at some point ask themselves what is the logic of keep lending America money that is to be repaid by a dollar that's worth less every year. They will start demanding repayment in tangibles. Or stop lending.

If you want to remain at the top you have to work hard for it everyday. Now ask yourself honestly do Americans work hard to be top dogs or do they think they should be top dogs because they're Americans?
