Selling domain group-sex.com. looking for advice and suggestions.
 

I have owned group-sex.com since march of 1998. In all that time is has never lapsed and has been sitting on my server. I have a few small sites on it that get a trickle of traffic and a link checker tells me there are 94 inbound links to it.

It is one of those domains I have told myself I would develop, but never have. If I haven't done it in nearly 11 years I probably am not going to.

So I have decided to sell it. I have been told it is worth anywhere from $500 to mid 4 figures in value.

The pluses of the domain are its age and it has some inbound links. It is also very keyword friendly.

The minuses of the domain are mainly the hyphen. Without the hyphen, obviously, it would be worth a lot more.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to go about selling this? I am willing to use a company if they are reputable and believe the name has a decent value. I am also open to any decent offers and will use a service like escrow.com if requested.

I've sold some domains in the past, but nothing big so any advice on getting a realistic value and good way to sell it would be greatly appreciated.

For those that want to know here is a screen shot of the traffic. I haven't done anything with this site in years so most of this traffic is either type in or trickling in from search engines on a few small sites from years ago. It looks like it gets between 50-100 uniques a day.

I suggest you check with Shap's lawyers before doing anything domain related.

I'm guessing it was 1999 or 2000 when I built a few small free sites on it so it has sat untouched since then. :)

I was looking at the stats just now and last month I got 3 hits from a search engine for the term, "learning to suck cock." I wonder if they were looking for lessons or just amateurs. :winkwink:

That is kind of the situation I am in. It is a good domain for seo, I just have a lot of my plate and it keeps getting pushed back and back and back. Finally I just decided to let it go.
