How many browser tabs do you have open?
 

I have 10 open.

It usually fluctuates around 10 but I've been known to hit 15 from time to time.

Tabbed browsing is so critical to my Internet experience now.

Agreed... I open 8 by default, whenever I launch IE

I don't like tabs. Too used to closing the browser when I'm done so I end up closing all the tabs by accident.

I try to close them once I don't need them, but most of the time I have huge mess going on. Right now 6, usually about 10-12. Plus I have two other browsers open with about 3 tabs on each one of those.

I usally have between 20 -30 tabs open in FireFox at all times. :Oh crap

I have a few tab groups set up for work purposes and they use a couple windows.

Curious wtf people need 10-30+ tabs for?

haha I need to close some but right now I have 37 tabs of firefox open.. normally 10-17 doing normal work but after a day or so if i don't reboot I tend to get duplicates of sites and junk

Holy crap, 37! Now that's impressive. If I get more than 15 or so open I start to feel claustrophobic and have to close some down.

6, and that's probably the most I'll leave open. I don't want my computer acting funny with 1000000 tabs.

The reason for my record was every sponsor I signed up at was open for changing of account info such as address.

I can understand a few instances to let it happen but often or on average?

I use 6 browsers and I have 100+ tabs open in each.

I then have 4 instances of vmware open with another 4 browsers and 50+ tabs in each.

I'm a huge multi tasker, I always have phpmyadmin, my site admin, my site, open on my dev server, and live server, so that alone is 6 tabs, then my email, 7 tabs, then if I'm on GFY, I always check the front page and open all threads I want to read in a new tab and go through them, so depending on what's going on here, just with GFY I have 10+ tabs open, etc...

I have a window with mail, and search set up. Another window with site cms, admin cms, affiliate area. Then a window with gfy and other boards and once a day (typically in morning) I will open new tabs for gfy as I scroll back to previous time on with new threads.

I just rarely open all windows and tab groups. Like I have one set just for my blogs, etc.

i have no idea how i used to live a tab-less life.

Everyday i have Email , ICQ and 40 browsers open in tabs....
