just got the e-mail.

Adult Alchemy would like to thank you for all your support and business over the years. Due to certain events we have decided that we will be shutting down the signup process of our pay sites and discontinue taking new joins to the program as of March 29, 2009 at 11:59pm PST.

We were trying up to the last minute of writing this letter to continue the program, but unfortunately we were not able to make all the pieces fit together. This unfortunately left us with minimal time to notify all AA affiliates. We apologize for such late notice, but we were really hoping to be able keep the program up and moving forward.

At this time we strongly suggest you remove all active traffic and marketing efforts to our program effective immediately. We will discontinue reporting any signups as of March 29, 2009 at 11:59pm PST. We will not be reporting signups after that time. All payouts prior to that date will be made in accordance with our regular payout schedule.

If you would like any recommendations for your existing traffic we would be more than happy to help find a new home for you should you need any assistance.

Thank you very much once again for your continued support and we wish you the best of luck going forward.

i had a convo with a prominent figure in this industry the other day and he said coupled with xsells going away and programs doing non-micro niche, lots of programs will be going away, very very soon and i totally agree.

its supporting torrent site/paying them to be online and spread all stolen content to surfers. Which makes all webmasters suffer - people get stolen content for free instead of buying memberships.

Lets think, 2 scenarios:

1. there is no free full content on the web and there are sponsors fucking the surfer

2. there is free full content on the web and there are no sponsors fucking the surfer

In 1st case - people still buy memberships, they just try to avoid paysites who fucks up with surfer. Webmasters promoting sponsors who don't fuck up - earn money

In 2nd case - full porn is there for free - webmasters don't earn money.

no I am not. Once upon the time when there were almost no free porn on internet the conversions were crazy. The more free porn came the worse conversions became. They dropped even more when free and full porn came out for free.
Take out all the tubes/torrents/rapidshares/any free porn and you will make 10 times more from the same traffic of yours (everybody is hungry to jerk off and they need to get their fix somewhere)
Take out sponsors who fuck up the surfers with crossales and you will make only little bit more

Just imagine everyone stopped giving away free porn! Good luck with that.

It would of course work but that is irrelevant.
