You have to get a Mac version, I had the same issue. If you have a new mac you can use bootcamp to put on windows XP. Thats what I did so i have them both, and can use both my Final Cut and Adobe CS3, it becomes a headache tho whn im trying to do something on my windows side and my external harddrive is mac read only.

Why move to a Mac? Then youre gonna bitch all the time how you need windows products.

Smokieflame 04-01-2009 03:39 PM

actually if you get intel macs and run windows full time or run parallel you get both the quality of a mac and the friendliness of windows.

I'm pretty sure the serial is universal and not for any specific OS, so just goto Adobe's website, download the trial version for whatever software you have in Mac form, and just use your serial on it. No need to go buy a "Mac version". :2 cents:

Is this true? That's fucking awesome. I know most files are cross compatible now (with some minor tweeks), but thought you needed to buy to programs, one for each system

don't you have problems with windows and now you want to learn os x? Granted it's not too bad, but 9 months later I'm still learning things lol.

I could be wrong, I don't know. Worth a try, if not, use a serial program, you've already paid for it.

Adobe Serials as far as I know are different for PC and Mac. I will go download the mac version tho and try my serial and if it works i will come let you guys know.

I would go for the Mac versions. I used to run Parallels but found it just wasn't worth it. The mac versions run flawlessly and in some cases better IMO.
