And for all you foreign military, I pray for your safe return to your homes and loved one, for you too have undertaken the greatest of tasks of this world, with no need for respect or admiration from your peers. And for those of you who have lost loved ones, be they USMC, USAF, USN, or US Army, and for our foreign brothers and sisters, as a military officer, I send my deepest regrets and condolences to you, and I can only say that I am proud to serve with them, and I know they passed on with dignity and honor, that befitting of someone of their high moral character. There's no honour deserved to the dead soldiers of Afghanistan, while they will be mourned by their families - they will get no respect and no honor from me. They died fighting an unjust war, a war based on revenge and retaliation, a war more engulfed in racism and blind hatred than in actual understanding. There was no legitimacy in the post-9/11 attack on Afghanistan - and while the Taliban was a horrible regime, they were not Afghani, they were merely extremists from around the world who took over Afghanistan after fighting the soviets.
Many of us in the USA still believe that Afghanistan was a just war, they are the blind who were so stupidly convinced that an attack on the civilians in Afghanistan would heal the wounds of 9/11. Many of the soldiers that join, do so knowing they will be sent to Afghanistan and many are racist and want to kill the Afghanis thinking that they are solely responsible for 9/11. It's this idiocy that makes me not have any compassion for the troops there.
No remorse, no compassion, no respect and absolutely no humility for those that choose to fight.
